We don’t need to tell you how strange back-to-school was this year. The all-virtual return to school is just the latest in a series of unusual new realities we must face in a post-COVID-world. So when we put out the call on our Facebook [1] page for residents to share their back-to-school photos, we were not confident that it would receive the same positive response that it has gotten in the past.
Boy, were we wrong. The post yielded 88 photos, which included 103 local students with some pretty awesome home-classroom setups. Some held adorable handmade signs and others posed in shirts saying things like “Class of 2030.” (Feel old yet?)
