Welcome to Uptown’s Winter Market

UPDATED with NEW INFO!

Come on Uptown Mt. Lebanon with the whole family on Saturday, December 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as it transforms into a Winter Wonderland, presented by the Mt. Lebanon Partnership.

The Uptown Winter Market and Holiday Celebration will kick off the holiday season along Washington Road. The day will glisten from start to finish, with music, artists, makers, vendors, entertainment and all the traditional holiday elements you’ve grown to love over the years at Lebo Light Night, brought to you in a fun and exciting new way.

The day will include live music in the Mt. Lebanon Municipal Building, including a performance by the Southminster Handbell Choir, carolers from the Salvation Army and a DJ from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check out the traditional model train display inside, too. Some performers will be outside along Washington Road. Take selfies at one of three selfie stations. A Festivus pole? You bet!

Santa will make a grand entrance on the back of a fire truck at 1 and he’ll hang out with kids on his Santa Throne (courtesy of Howard Hanna) in the lobby of the municipal building until 3 p.m. And, if the kids are too shy to whisper in his ear, Santa is bringing a mailbox so they can write him a letter filled with all of their holiday wishes.

The popular elf hunt returns to Washington Road as part of the festivities. How many can you find? Kids games will include a snowball toss, candy cane fishing and snowman stacking contest. Cut the winter chill at the warming station in Clearview Common with fire pits, while you play oversized games like Jenga. Gardening expert Doug Oster will be outside Washington Elementary giving away free seeds and answering winter gardening questions.

Nearly three dozen vendors will line the South Parking Lot and Washington Road for a super-sized market, including food, artwork and gifts. Be sure to grab a cookie and cup of hot cocoa from the Washington Road businesses to keep you warm as you make your way around. Elves will be handing out candy. All Washington Road shops will be open and ready to welcome you for lots of holiday fun and shopping. Between the pandemic and the construction on Washington Road, our businesses could really use your support.

Parking in either garage is just $1. Limited parking on Washington Road.
