TREE CITY U.S.A. CEREMONY At 2:30 p.m., on Friday, April 28, the municipality will partner with the Mt. Lebanon School District for a Tree City U.S.A. ceremony at Howe Elementary School. The event will include student poetry and music, remarks by Howe principal Matthew Rizzuto and Mt. Lebanon Commissioner Steve Silverman, followed by the reading of a Tree City proclamation and a tree planting on school grounds. Mt. Lebanon has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a Tree City U.S.A. since 2007.
