DON’T GET MIXED UP Just a reminder: Trash pickup is every week and recycling pickup is every other week.
Recyclables are picked up by a different truck than regular trash pickup, and the trash truck drivers are instructed to not collect recyclables.
If you’re not sure when your recycling week is, you can pick up a copy of the trash and recycling schedule at the Customer Service Center in the Mt. SCHWAB BRANCH OPENS HERE Charles Schwab has opened a branch in Mt. Lebanon, at 1600 Washington Road. The full-service investment firm is led by Courtney Quinlan. His wife, Susan B. Quinlan, is an Independent Branch Client Service Specialist at the branch. The local office is part of Schwab’s new franchise program, which seeks to place investment services in local communities. ELECTRONIC RECYCLING Commonwealth Computer Recycling will be in the Mt. Lebanon Public Library parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, October 21, for a hard drive shredding and electronics waste recycling event. Accepted items include computer equipment, cellphones, small appliances, cameras, calculators, typewriters, fax machines, keyboards, computer peripherals, and more.
