Make a Gingerbread House

Teen STEM Academy with CitizenScience Lab (6th grade and up)

Enjoy a monthly interactive science event for teens and tweens. Western Pennsylvania Passenger Rail Service

A review of the history of western Pennsylvania passenger rail beginning immediately before the creation of Amtrak leading up to today, with a look into future developments. Led by Mark Spada, president of Western Pennsylvanians for Passenger Rail and Council Member of Rail Passengers Association. 3 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, December 7. Career Counseling

WorkAble combines the services of career counselors, regional employers and volunteers to provide seamless services in geographically diverse locations throughout Allegheny County. Funded through the United Way of Allegheny County, services include career counseling and assessment, guidance in resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, networking, interviewing and connection to other resources to assist with barriers to employment.
