@ the library

GREAT GARDENS The Mt. Lebanon Public Library’s first-ever Virtual Garden Tour racked up more than 1,500 views its first week and brought in more than $7,000. The tour, a fundraiser and summertime staple of the library for more than 20 years, consisted this year of a slideshow of patron-submitted garden photos in a number of categories, including water features, spring flowers, gardens for birds and several others. View the video anytime here [1].

LIBRARY LOVE September is Love Your Library Month. Thanks to a generous grant from the Jack Buncher Foundation, every library in Allegheny County will receive matching funds for every dollar raised during the month of September. Celebrate all the wonderful things you love about Mt. Lebanon Public Library—from the books, movies, and music to the staff, programming, and free access to information—by making a donation [2]. What a great way to acknowledge and thank your library staff for all that they’ve accomplished to keep your library going during the months of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
