GREAT GARDENS The Mt. Lebanon Public Library’s first-ever Virtual Garden Tour racked up more than 1,500 views its first week and brought in more than $7,000. The tour, a fundraiser and summertime staple of the library for more than 20 years, consisted this year of a slideshow of patron-submitted garden photos in a number of categories, including water features, spring flowers, gardens for birds and several others. AUTHOR VIRTUAL VISIT Novelist and editor Angie Cruz will present a virtual discussion about her book Dominicana at 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 15. Dominicana was shortlisted for The Women’s Prize and longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction.
