Summer Camps Are Back!

Baseball Open to boys and girls age 7 to 15. Improve your hitting, fielding, throwing, catching, base running and sliding skills, taught by former Point Park University baseball coach Al Liberi. Daily scrimmages, home run derby and trivia prizes. Weekly camps, mornings from July 6 to August 6 at Dixon Field, $90 for residents and $100 for non-residents.

Playground Open to boys and girls who have completed kindergarten through third grade. Activities include organized games, arts and crafts, nature programs, drama, music, field trips and special events. Weekly camps, mornings through July 30 at Foster, Lincoln, Jefferson and Markham elementary schools, $75 per week, residents only.

Lebo Sportz Zone Open to boys and girls who have completed fourth through eighth grade. Sports, games and fitness challenges, including basketball, broomball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, platform tennis and gaga ball. Weekly camps, mornings through July 30 at Mt. Lebanon Park, $75 per week ($60 the week of July 6 because no camp on July 5), residents only. Because of space considerations, registration is limited to the first 35 children from grades four and five, and the first 35 from grades six through eight.
