Financial Advisors Jason Baer and Vince Kasievich formed the Baer Kasievich Financial Group in early 2020 with the intention of combining the right blend of experience, intellectual capital, and dedicated personal service to fully address the needs of their client base. Vince is a financial advisor with the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designations and has over 40 years of experience, and Jason adds over 23 years of experience to the team. The team has refined a consistent process that has guided clients through various market cycles.
As Baer and Kasievich joined forces, they looked to add a third advisor to the team. Fortunately, they did not need to look very far, as Mt. Lebanon native Paul Lang was right around the corner. Paul’s name may be recognizable to Lebo residents, as he had a standout football and basketball career in the district, which led to a distinguished collegiate academic and football career at Michigan State. Lang earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University, where he was one of 22 players in the program’s history to be awarded Academic All-Big Ten Selection four consecutive years. He was also the recipient of the Dan S. Petty Scholar-Athlete Award. The success he had as a Spartan allowed him to experience a notable short stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lang has been able to utilize his unwavering dedication and admirable work ethic in order to quickly establish a financial stronghold within the team. Paul and his wife, Caroline, are thrilled to be back in their hometown, where he is building a career mentored by respectable, insightful, and knowledgeable financial advisors.
Paul Lang is not the only member of the Baer Kasievich Financial Group with strong community roots. Senior Vice President/Investments, Jason Baer has lived in Mt. Lebanon for 17 years. He is active in the community, formerly serving as President and now serving as a Board member of the Dormont/Mt. Lebanon & Castle Shannon Rotary Club. Baer has also been a key member and coach for the Mt. Lebanon Football Association for 8 years. Jason and is wife, Valerie, are most proud of raising their four children, all of whom are currently in the Mt. Lebanon school system.
