share your family’s story

When did your family come to Mt. Lebanon?  Why?   Why have you stayed or perhaps returned?  And what are your hopes for the community’s future?

As part of Mt. Lebanon’s Centennial celebration, the library invites  residents to share their families’ Mt. Lebanon stories, beginning Saturday, May 5, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.  Some of the videos will be chosen to appear on the library’s website, www.mtlebanonlibrary.org.

To tell your family’s story, go to the library’s reference desk, where you will be directed  to the mobile recording room—Study Room #4—and receive directions about how to  record your video.

In addition to Saturday, May 5, individuals or families may record videos on Tuesday, May 8 from 9 to 9, Wednesday, May 9 from 9 to 9, Thursday, May 10 from 9 to 9 and Friday, May 11 from 9 to 5.  More recording sessions will be added as needed.

Brandon Priddy, public service librarian,  can provide additional information about the project. Contact him at 412-531-1912, x 205 or priddyb@einetwork.net.
