regional recycling events

The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) will hold a series of Saturday recycling events in southwestern Pennsylvania. Electronics, household chemicals, building materials and unwanted medications are among the hard-to-recycle materials the PRC will accept and dispose of. HOUSEHOLD CHEMICALS 

Drop off automotive fluids, household cleaners, pesticides, paints and other household chemicals for $3 per gallon, cash only. New this year: Camp fuel and small propane bottles will be accepted.

HARD-TO-RECYCLE COLLECTIONS

Drop off e-waste, such as computer towers and peripheral equipment, cell phones, printers or toner cartridges, CFLs and expandable polystyrene packaging material at no cost. For a fee, drop off televisions and computer monitors, alkaline batteries, fluorescent tubes, printers, small Freon appliances and tires.
