Kelly Brown, Forest Glen Drive, and Steph Schuler, Edward Avenue, have secured the old Party Cake storefront, 297 Beverly Road, for a pop-up shop and gallery through December 31. The store will sell Brown’s art work (kellybrownink.com [1]), Rutz Naturals skin care products (rutznaturals.com [2]), and clothing from the Joah Brown line, owned by Brown’s niece, Joah (joahbrown.com [3]).

Brown is no stranger to the pop-up concept. This summer, she was one of the driving forces behind a pop-up art gallery on Washington Road in the space next to the north garage. The gallery gave high school art students a place to exhibit their work.
Brown says the items for sale in the store focus on sustainability and health and wellness. She and Schuler have a month-long lease on the property with an option to renew in January.
Pop-Up Shop + Gallery, 297 Beverly Road. Hours: Sunday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
