If you’re planning a party, either outside or inside, in the water, in the park or on the ice, the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department has you covered. The Founders’ Room at the tennis center is available to residents for $60 per hour ($80 for non-residents). The pro shop party room, on the first floor of the recreation center, is yours for $30 an hour ($40 for non-residents), and other rooms in the center can be had for $30 to $70 per hour (slightly more for non-residents). This includes use of the rec center kitchen. Other venues:

Parks There are three pavilions in Mt. Lebanon Park and one each in Bird and Williamsburg parks. Reservations are first-come, first-serve. The cost for Mt. Lebanon residents ranges from $31 to $54, with a $12 surcharge on holidays.  Pavilions can be reserved online at the recreation department section of Mt. Pool The swim center has a package for kids’ birthday parties on weekends from May 25 to August 25. Cost is $19 per child with an eight-guest minimum and 24-guest maximum, and includes pizza, drinks, paper products and tablecloths and the use of the recreation center party room from 12:30 to 2. Adults pay $8 for pool admission, but parents get in free. You can also rent the pool for a couple of hours, after closing time on the weekends, for $460. Includes lifeguards. 412-561-4363.

Ice rink The ice center offers a number of kids’ birthday party packages, both private and during public skating sessions, for between eight and 24 children. For $18 per child, during the public skate session from 2:10 to 4, you get use of the party room from 12:30 to 2 on Saturdays or 1 to 2:30 on Sundays. Or you can rent the studio rink for an hour from 4 to 5 or 6:30 to 7:30 Saturdays or 5 to 6 on Sundays, plus use of the party room. Cost is $265 for eight to 15 children and $300 for 16 to 24. Both options include pizza and drinks, paper products, tablecloths and a birthday gift. 412-561-4363.
