NEW RECTOR St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Washington Road, welcomes a new rector this month. The Rev. Noah Evans, formerly rector of Grace Episcopal Church, Medford, Massachusetts, will conduct his first worship service March 19. He succeeds the Rev. Lou Hays, who is retiring. Evans, 39, is a 2000 magna cum laude graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and a 2004 graduate of the General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church in New York. He and his wife, the Rev. Sara Irwin, also an Episcopal priest, are the parents of two young children, Isaiah and Adah.


Chris Kemerer

OFT-QUOTED Hoodridge Drive resident Chris Kemerer was recently recognized for having written the most highly cited paper ever in the field of software engineering. The paper, “A Metrics Suite for Object-Oriented Design,’ was published in 1994 in the IEEE Transactions of Software Engineering, and has been cited more often than nearly 72,000 research papers that were published between 1972 and 2015, according to an Information and Software Technology study published last year.  Kemerer, the David M. Roderick Professor of Information Systems at the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, is the current director of the school’s information systems and technology management department.
