St. Clair Hospital has appointed Kim Edvardsson to its board of directors. Edvardsson, Valleyview Road, is a corporate controller for EverPower Wind Holdings. She also serves on the board of the Mt. Lebanon Marching Band Builders, and is a former board member of the Center for Theater Arts.

Parkridge Lane resident Randall Tecza, vice president of operations for Guardian Protection Services, is one of the industry journal Security Systems News’s “20 Under 40.” The competition honors 20 talented young security industry professionals under the age of 40. Tecza joined Guardian in May, 2013. He is a member of the Electronic Security Association’s Legislative Coalition Council. Tecza will be honored at the TechSec Solutions conference in Delray Beach, Florida in February, 2015.

 

 

Grafton Eliason Kathy Humphrey

Dr. Grafton Eliason, Briarwood Avenue, was honored for his volunteerism with the Educator Hero Award at the Sixth Annual American Red Cross Heroes Breakfast. Eliason, a professor and coordinator in the Department of Counselor Education, School of Counseling at the California University of Pennsylvania, has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross since 2002. He is on call daily to consult and assist with emergencies in mental health, such as working with the victims and families of the LA Fitness Center shooting. He also volunteers with The Red Cross Yellow Ribbon Program, working with veterans and their families upon return from military deployment. He is also available to Red Cross staff to help them process their experiences as disaster workers.
