Board certified dermatologist Dr. Gretchen Kreizenbeck, shown above (second to right) with Dr. Loren S. Funt and staff, has joined Mt. Lebanon Dermatology, 660 Washington Road. After receiving her medical degree from Yale, where she did her thesis on melanoma, she went on to do an internship at the Yale Primary Care Program followed by a residency in dermatology, also at Yale. Her specialties include adult and pediatric medical dermatology including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and skin cancer; surgical excisions, and cosmetic procedures including Botox, filler and laser therapy. Dr. Kreizenbeck, a member of the Academy of Dermatology and the Women’s Dermatologic Society,  recently moved to this area from Connecticut with her husband, two young children and two cats

 

Geri Kuremsky, 750 Washington Road, has launched a small practice as a career strategist, “specializing in career direction for young adults.” Recognizing that many young people begin—and sometimes finish—college with no idea of what they would like to pursue, Kuremsky describes her work as “helping young people explore where their interests, talents and passions will fit into the adult world of work.” She has 25-plus years of experience in human resources, concentrating on career counseling, employee relations, career exploration, recruitment, assessment, evaluation and career planning. She has served as both a manager and a senior consultant in such fields as technology, government, education, service industries and not-for-profit clients. Peter Argentine has been appointed to the U.S. Postal Service’s Citizens’ Stamp Advisory Committee. The committee evaluates 40,000 stamp proposals annually before submitting approximately 25 to 30 stamp recommendations to the Postmaster General. Committee members, appointed by the Postmaster General, are chosen for their expertise on history, science and technology, art, education, sports and other subjects of public interest. Argentine, a filmmaker and founder of Argentine Productions, has produced numerous award-winning films, including three from a series on U.S. national parks.
