Everyone loves a parade and the Mt. Lebanon Firefighters have been hard at work organizing the Mt. Lebanon Centennial Parade. The parade steps off at 3 p.m. on Saturday. More than 80 units are set to march on the Washington Road route, from Cochran Road to Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Every school will have a float and you’ll be treated to lots of music, performers, fire companies and celebs.
Following the parade, Uptown Rhythm and Brass will play in the Clearview Common with food and entertainment for the family along Washington Road in Uptown.
Parking will be available Uptown during the day on Saturday. The South garage will be open with its entrance around the back on Florida for the duration of the afternoon and evening. The North Garage will be open before the parade but closed during the parade itself. No traffic will be able to enter or exit the North Garage during the parade. The North garage will open again after the parade even as parts of Washington Road will remain closed to traffic in Uptown for the post-parade celebration.
