Meet Your New Commissioners

Three new commissioners will take the reins of local government this month. Mt. Lebanon Commission is composed of five members, one from each ward. Commissioners serve a four-year term.

Ward 1: Mindy Ranney

Resident: Segar Road

Education: B.S. in industrial engineering, Purdue University

Professional Experience: Founder and CEO, ConnectSix, San Francisco-based software consulting firm.

Ward 3: Leeann Foster

Resident: Wainwright Drive

Spouse: Craig

Children: a son and daughter

Education: B.A. in English and classical studies, Coe College, Cedar Rapids Iowa

J.D. Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa

Professional Experience: vice president, United Steelworkers International Union Assistant to the President and Associate General Counsel, United Steelworkers International Union

Volunteer Activities: Pro bono services for low-income women in divorce or domestic violence situations; Numerous women’s leadership development programs and initiatives

 

Ward 5: Andrew Flynn

Resident: Lindendale Drive

Spouse: Corey

Children: Two daughters and one son

Education:   B.A. in international relations and history, Kent State University

Professional Experience: Founder and CEO of a technology company providing public agency fiscal administration, oversight and transparency solutions. Over 15 years professional experience providing strategic advice on capital planning, tax policy and debt issuance to large and small public agencies across the United States.Advocate for smart cities, green building, improved waste management, sustainable development and fiscal prudence
