Name: Dale Gregg
Age: 74
Location: I lived in Mt Lebanon for over 20 years but downsized to the Nevilleside carriage home community in Collier Township in 2007.
Where/when can your art be found in the Mt. Lebanon Public Library? My paintings will be on display by the lower library entrance (off Castle Shannon Blvd)
Art form: Watercolor
How did you get into this? I majored in studio art in college, pursued a masters degree in art education and taught briefly in the Pittsburgh Public schools. After leaving teaching, I became an interior decorator and then an attorney.
I am currently a member of the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society and on the board of South Arts.
Tell us about your art. Is there a meaning behind it? What emotions do you intend to invoke? Most of my work is an exploitation of form and color in flowers and portraits.
You were a longtime Mt. Lebanon resident. What does it means to present in your old community? I loved living in Mt Lebanon and, since the library is such a special place, I feel honored to display my work there.
Where else can your work be found? My work is exhibited through South Arts at The Galleria.
