It’s Fish Fry season!
Yes, it’s that time of year again. If you’re looking for fried cod, fish tacos or crab cakes, you’ve got a lot of local options for meatless meals this Lent. There’s even a variety of Haluski (fried cabbage and noodles!), mac & cheese and pizza on the menus for all of the non-fish lovers out there. Take-out or eat-in options, depending on the location.
We’ve compiled a list of nonprofit fish fries in the area for you to check out!

St. Louise de Marillac School Family Fish Fry
Takeout only.
When: Each Friday in Lent, except Good Friday.
Time: 4:30-7 p.m.

Christ United Methodist Church
Drive-thru takeout only. No call in orders.
When: Each Friday during Lent, except Good Friday.
Time: Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner will be available from 4-7 p.m.
Location: Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road.
Resurrection Parish: St. John Capistran and St. Thomas More
Takeout only.
When: Each Friday during Lent, except Good Friday.
Time: Order pick-up is available from 4:30-7 p.m.
Location: St. John Capistran, 1610 McMillan Road, and St. Thomas More, 126 Fort Couch Road.

St. Raphael the Archangel: SS. Simon and Jude and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Both churches are takeout only.
When: Simon and Jude will host fish fries on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays during Lent, except Good Friday. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton will host fish fries every Friday in Lent, except Good Friday.
