Focus: Frontier conflicts over a 36-year period in the Ohio River Valley of Western Pennsylvania from the military occupation of the Forks in 1758 to the Whiskey Rebellion and defeat of Indian tribes in Ohio in 1794. BEER. CHILI. LIFE IS GOOD The Mt. Lebanon Public Library will have special Saturday evening hours on January 26, when it hosts its ninth annual Brews for a Chili Night. The event features a broad selection of regional ales, lagers, stouts and cider, along with chili from four restaurants and more than 20 hand-picked home cooks, and traverses the range from vegan to exotic meats, and from mild to so hot you should probably consult your doctor before eating. Also, live music from the RML Jazz Trio. Tickets are $35, general admission; $50, sponsor. This event will sell out quickly! No tickets will be sold at the door. Adults 21+ only.
