Ladies love purses, do they not?

Outreach Teen & Family Services, 666 Washington Road, is putting the final touches on plans for its fourth annual Ladies’ Night Out Purse and Cash Bash, Friday, January 23 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Castle Shannon Fire Hall, 3600 Library Road (Route 88).

The popular event always sells out and only 500 tickets are available.

If you’ve never been, here’s how it goes: Tickets are $35, which gets you a light dinner, open bar (choice of beer, wine and a signature drink), as well as two numbers in the drawing for designer purses from names like Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Rebecca Minkoff and Zac Posen. Drawings start at 7, and every 10 minutes or so, the volunteers choose a number to win one of the purses you see pictured here. Interspersed with the purse drawings are drawings for cash.

This year, the event will also feature two live auctions of totes from Tory Burch ($525 value) and Kate Spade ($495 value). Tickets will also be sold at the event for basket raffles, 50/50 raffles, and “Pick-of-the-Table” drawings, during which the winner can choose the purse from a table of approximately $200 purses. Other raffles include Sabika jewelry, Pirates and Penguins tickets and a Tory Burch Fitbit.

At the end of the night, a lucky attendee will win $1,000 cash.

Money raised at the event enables Outreach to provide counseling and educational programs that are affordable, accessible, confidential and responsive to young people and families.
