FRIGHT NIGHT Be prepared to be scared! At 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 26, Mt. Lebanon Library will go to the ghost and goblins for Fright Night, the library’s annual Halloween celebration that includes great activities for the entire family and free refreshments at Franken’s Diner. CEMETERY TOUR At 5:15 p.m., Monday, October 29, the Historical Society of Mount Lebanon hosts the Graves and Goblins tour of Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. As the full moon rises, you’ll roam the rolling hills while hearing some haunting stories about the people buried beneath the headstones and in the mausoleums. Meet at the cemetery’s front gate. PUMPKIN PATCH PARADE Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department’s annual Pumpkin Patch Parade takes to Washington Road 11 a.m., Saturday, October 27. Bands, mascots, local organizations and more will pass out candy as they march from Mt. Lebanon Cemetery to Washington School. Following the parade, Washington Road businesses with orange “Trick or Treat” signs in their windows will pass out candy. www.mtlebanon.org.
COSTUME PARTY The Hollywood Theater in Dormont will host a Halloween Costume Party fundraiser, 8 to 11 p.m., Saturday, October 27. Come dressed as your favorite movie character (prizes will be awarded), get a tarot card reading and enjoy classic silent horror movies, music, raffles and popcorn, candy and other treats.
