Get your glitz on at this year’s Outreach Teen & Family Services gala, “Glitz on Grandview,” 7 p.m., Saturday, April 28, at the LeMont on Mount Washington. Featured entertainment will include a performance by the Mt. Lebanon High School Orchestra, a silent and a Chinese auction and a raffle for an iPad 2 (or maybe 3, if Apple can get its act together in time). The evening’s special guest will be state Rep. Matt Smith along with his wife Eileen, both longtime Outreach supporters. U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy will present an award to Smith. Allison Alexander and Tammy Janero are the event co-chairs, with Sharyn Reagan, Outreach’s fundraising and marketing coordinator, leading the planning committee. Tickets are $125. “Toast of the Town” is this year’s Mt. Lebanon Junior Women’s Club fundraising gala. The event, which benefits the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, will take place at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at the Fairmont. Tickets are $85, and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, two drink tickets and entertainment by Rick Purcell.
