Some of us can’t wait for that first coating of snow to cover the landscape and make everything clean and white. Others start counting down to spring and daylight savings time before the solstice even arrives. Regardless of how winter affects you, you have to admit it offers up its own uniquely seasonal beauty. SNOW HAPPY, 2016. I can’t help but smile each time I see this image. I was photographing a winter engagement session for Jack’s mom and dad. I had just finished posing the three of them when Jack started bouncing towards me. I managed to capture this image right before he covered me in snow.
