The Mt Lebanon Artists’ Market, set for September 21 and 22 this year in the Academy Avenue parking lot, isn’t just an opportunity to score one-of-a-kind art for your home or gorgeous accessories for your outfit. The festival, presented by the Mt. Lebanon Partnership, is a fundraiser that feeds a scholarship fund to help a Mt. Lebanon resident who is pursuing a degree in art. The scholarship is meant for just one student per year, but thanks to generous patrons, the Partnership was able to award three $1,000 scholarships last year, to artists Paulina Braverman, Alyssa Scott and Hannah Wu.

Now the Partnership hopes to be able to do the same this year. How can you help? Become a patron by sending your check to the Mt. Lebanon Partnership, 710 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15228.
