East End Brewing Targets March Opening

East End Brewing’s Scott Smith pours beer at Brew Fest

The long-awaited opening of East End Brewing’s Mt. Lebanon Taproom, on the ground floor of the North Garage, 651 Washington Road, is just around the corner.

Owner Scott Smith, Longuevue Drive, anticipates a March date. “We are so excited to get our doors open!”

There are plans for a mix of booth, bar, and table seating, in addition to plenty of outdoor seating. Also on tap (no pun intended!) — a full spread of 16 taps of East End beer and cider coupled with guest taps for fellow beer makers, Pennsylvania-based cocktails, and some carefully selected PA wines for customers to enjoy with East End Chewing pizza. Pizza and beer will be available for takeout, too.

Looking for non-alcoholic options? Plenty of Barmy Soda Company soda pops and fruited seltzers will be available. Smith adds “The one thing we won’t have is televisions, so that you can more easily connect with friends (or strangers) over a few pints. So, if you’re looking to catch the game, you’re probably better off stopping in to see our friends across the street at The Saloon. They might just have some East End on tap!”
