Online sales begin Saturday, April 1
Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy’s biggest fundraiser happens on Saturday, May 20, but you don’t need to wait until the in-person event to shop. Residents can choose native species for their gardens by visiting LeboNature.org.
Pittsburgh Tartan Day

Don your tartan and enjoy the bagpipers, fiddlers, dancers, food raffles and Celtic workshops. The free event goes from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 2999 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park. Proceeds from the celebration benefit the Tartan Day Scholarship Fund.

Martha’s Run
Saturday, April 8
Martha’s Run, a 10K race named for Mt. Lebanon native Martha Dixon, an F.B.I. agent killed in the line of duty, is at 8 a.m. Proceeds from the race benefit Martha’s Fund, a nonprofit that has purchased more than $150,000 worth of playground equipment for western Pennsylvania communities. Cost is $35 for the 10K, $24 for the 1-mile run and $12 for the kids’ dash.
Pittsburgh Opera presents Verdi’s epic Il Trovatore
