Pro Circuit Tennis Tournament
Monday, July 11 to Sunday, July 17
The only professional men’s tennis tournament happening in Pennsylvania! Stop by the Mt. Lebanon Tennis Center to see some of the world’s best players battle it out for cash, along with the all-important Association of Tennis Professionals points. The Pro Circuit tournament features 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. At 5:30 p.m. each afternoon during the tournament, weather permitting, there will be a featured match on Court 8. One of the main draws will be a match at either 10 or 11 a.m. on July 11.
Mt. Lebanon Fourth of July festivities
Monday, July 4
Happy Independence Day! It’s time to celebrate. Stop by Mt. Lebanon Park for a day of fun, beginning at noon. A free concert by The Brighton Boys at 7:30 p.m. Zambelli fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. Rain date for the concert and fireworks is July 5.

Rock the Block with Public Safety
Sunday, July 10 and Saturday, August 13
They’re bringing the party to you! Meet Mt. Lebanon’s first responders in a fun, casual setting, with lots of fun for kids and parents alike, including games, music and food. You can even see their emergency vehicles up close.
The free block parties run from 3 to 7 p.m. and are organized by Mt. Lebanon’s police and fire departments and Medical Rescue Team South Authority.
Stop by Washington Elementary School on July 10, following the car show, and/or Lincoln Elementary School on August 13 for a fun afternoon for the entire family. The block parties will wrap up for the year on September 10 at Hoover Elementary School.
Touch-A-Truck

Ever wanted to climb aboard a Mt. Lebanon fire truck or look inside the back of a pet grooming mobile? Now’s your chance. The Mt. Lebanon Public Library is hosting its annual Touch-A-Truck event from 1 to 3 p.m. in the shared library/Southminster parking lot at the corner of Hazel Drive and Washington Road. Families can explore cool vehicles and meet the wonderful people who run them! Editor’s note: Venue has been changed to Washington Road, in front of Washington Elementary School.
Michaelmas Festival
Wednesday through Saturday, July 27-30
The annual St. Michael the Archangel festivities are back from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1734 Bower Hill Road. The Michaelmas Festival features entertainment, ethnic food, games, rides and inflatables, bingo and special nightly events.
Casanova & The Divas
Saturday, August 13
Stop by Our Lady of Grace, 310 Kane Boulevard, for a concert by Casanova & the Divas. Food trucks start serving at 6 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m.

Classic Car Show
Sunday, July 10
Classic cars will line the 600 and 700 blocks of Washington Road for this year’s show, starting at 9 a.m. The event, sponsored by the Mt. Lebanon Police Association, features food, vendors and live music. It’s rain or shine and benefits police youth programs.

Music lovers, get ready for the 2022 Pittsburgh Black Music Festival, planned for Point State Park and Market Square. This year’s festival is in honor of Pittsburgh native songstress Phyllis Hyman and features Lalah Hathaway, Debra Laws, Ronnie Laws and more.
Summer Community BBQ

Fun for the whole family! Stop by the Chabad of South Hills’ Summer Community BBQ, starting at 5 p.m. in Scott Park at the Walnut Shelter. The event features food, drinks, music and games.
