It’s back! Save the date. The two-day fine arts fair will once again make Mt. Lebanon a focal point of the Pittsburgh art world. Sponsored by the Mt. Lebanon Partnership, the juried arts festival will feature 60 to 80 booths with professional quality, original art in a variety of media. A Walk in the Park

Join the Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy for a tour of Williamsburg Park on Saturday, September 18. The tours take about 20 to 30 minutes, and will run from 10 a.m. to noon. Learn about sustainable forestry practices, native trees and the impact of invasive species. Handicap-accessible tours are available. Children’s hands-on activities are planned. Williamsburg Park is located at Sleepy Hollow Road at Valley Park Drive. Please park at the pavilion.

History and Commerce: A Walking Tour of Washington Road

Saturday, September 25
Take a 90-minute walking tour and explore the architecture of Mt. Lebanon’s central business district. Learn about Mt. Lebanon’s history and get a glimpse at the art deco interior of the municipal building. The tour starts at 10 a.m. Tickets are $7 for members, $15 for non-members. www.lebohistory.org ^[2]

Holy Cross Autumn Fest

Wednesday and Thursday, October 6 and 7
Craving some of your all-time Greek favorites? Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church ^[3],123 Gilkeson Road, will host an Autumn Food Fair from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. They’ll serve up some tasty moussaka, tiropita, spanakopita, pastitsio, rice pudding and more. A bake sale will feature delicious Greek pastries, and YiaYia Joan’s Treasures and Market will be open.

Women’s Club of Mt. Lebanon Club Kick-off

Wednesday, September 1
Say hello to old friends and meet some new ones. Stop by at The Porch at Siena from 7 to 9 p.m. and help the club kick off its 2021-22 year. Cost is $15 per person and includes food for the evening. A cash bar will also be available. www.womensclubmtl.org ^[4]

Festival of Bands

Saturday, September 11

Get ready to sway along to the beat. The Mt. Lebanon High School Blue Devil Marching Band ^[5] will host its 26th annual Festival of Bands at 7 p.m., at Mt. Lebanon High School Stadium. Marching bands from Canon-McMillan, Seton LaSalle, Chartiers Valley and South Fayette will perform, along with the Mt. Lebanon Percussion Front, Drumline and Guard. The festival will take place rain or shine. Tickets are $8 at the gate.

Asian Lantern Festival

Through Saturday October 30
The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium will illuminate from the glow of colossal, wildlife-themed, handcrafted lanterns. The Asian Lantern Festival ^[6] is a family-friendly nighttime event that requires a separate ticket from zoo daytime admission.

Food Truck Festival

Sunday, September 26
Bring the whole family for a fun filled afternoon! The St. Paul of the Cross ^[7] Ministry Fair and Food Truck Festival will take place on St. Anne’s Church grounds, 400 Hoodridge Drive, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food trucks will include Hibachi Lou’s, Pittsburgh Hummus, Rescue Dogs, Sunny’s Shaved Ice and Homemade Pierogies and Cotton Candy City.
