EXTRA, EXTRA!

Big Butler Fair
Its claim to fame is “the largest fair in Western Pennsylvania,” so if you are looking to take the kids to a fair this summer, give the Big Butler Fair a try! It’s one hour from Mt. Lebanon, with a “Kiddie Land,” free concerts, fireworks, tractor pulls and school bus demolitions—typical fair stuff—and it guarantees a change in scenery from the suburbs. The fair runs from June 30 to July 8. www.BigButlerFair.com [26].

Lebo Garden Tour
Want to take a peek at the most beautiful private gardens in Mt. Lebanon? Then don’t miss Mt. Lebanon Public Library’s 27th Annual Garden Tour! This year’s event has three parts. Finally, a perennial sale will also be held at the library during tour hours. All plants in the sale are donated from local gardens, and gardening experts will be available to offer tips and advice. www.MtLebanonLibrary.org [27].
