First FIRST Friday
Pittsburgh’s Grievous Angels will perform at First Friday on June 2 from 7 to 10 p.m. in Uptown Mt. Lebanon. The band has a strong local following, as Mt. Lebanon artist and musician Stacy Innerst is the drummer. They are known for their blend of folk, rock and soul music, and audiences can expect a mix of recognizable classics with Grievous Angels originals. www.mtlebopartnership.org
Three Rivers Arts Festival
One of the largest free arts festivals in the world, the Three Rivers Arts Festival will be held from June 2 to 11, with activities planned in Point State Park, the Cultural District and Gateway Center. In addition to hundreds of Artist Market and food booths, the festival will also feature art exhibitions, kids’ activities and performances by local performing arts companies and guest musicians such as Rebirth Brass Band, Dawes and Sarah Jarosz. Bicycle Show
If you are a bicycle enthusiast, you won’t want to miss Bicycle Heaven’s Annual Bicycle Show & Swap Meet on Saturday, June 10, and Sunday June 11. Peruse antique bikes and parts, participate in the bike swap, enjoy food and music or just hang out with fellow cyclists. Jazzy June
Head to Pittsburgh’s Cultural District Friday, June 16, to Sunday, June 18, for the Pittsburgh JazzLive International Festival, which offers jazz concerts all weekend, many of which are free and open to the public. The festival kicks off Friday with a free “jazz crawl” to different bars and venues downtown. Bell Bottoms and Bright Lights
Mt. Lebanon-based nonprofit Lend-ing Hearts is hosting a fundraiser at The Andy Warhol Museum Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m. The event is ’70s-themed, with disco dancing, food and cash prizes. Lending Hearts was founded by Vasso Paliouras to help provide free emotional and social support to children and young adults with cancer. She was inspired by her sister, Constance, who battled Stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma while attending Mt. Lebanon High School and has since gone into remission.

Lebo Tennis Tournaments
The Mt. Lebanon Tennis Center will be closed from Friday, June 23, through Friday, June 30, while the center hosts two major tournaments—the Men’s Futures of Pittsburgh Pro Tournament and the West Penn Amateur Collegiate Tournament, which is the oldest amateur tournament in the country. The public is invited to watch the feature matches of the Men’s Futures tournament at 5:30 p.m. every night from Tuesday, June 27, to Friday, June 30. More than 500 people are expected at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden’s 20th Annual Town and Country Tour on Sunday, June 25. The fundraiser tours 14 of the best private gardens in Pittsburgh’s East End. People can take a self-guided tour ($55) or a bus tour that includes lunch at Edgewood Country Club ($135). Independence Day in Lebo

Graves & Goblins
The Historical Society of Mount Lebanon’s popular Graves & Goblins tour is now available as a private self-guided tour. TEDxPittsburgh is partnering with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust for its annual conference, Awakening: Ideas on the Rise, Sunday, June 4, at the Byham Theater. The conference will feature multiple speakers including performers, filmmakers and other local leaders who will share their ideas related to technology, entertainment and design.
