Brew Fest Tickets On Sale

Get your Brew Fest tickets online now at https://mylebo.mtlebanon.org/. Brew Fest will  be held Saturday, September 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Clearview Common. Anyone who buys a ticket ahead of time is assured a commemorative tasting glass; there are only 600. Suggested donation for the event is $25 in advance and $30 at the gate.

This is the third year for the beer tasting, sponsored by Howard Hanna Real Estate Mt. Lebanon, and there are a few changes.  For the first time, Mt. Lebanon is partnering with the Sunrise Rotary, and proceeds will be split between the Veterans Memorial and Outreach Teen and Family Services.  The idea is to create an ongoing Uptown event that can continue to provide a source of funding for the memorial but also will benefit other community nonprofit organizations.

Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale, distributor of many popular craft beers, “will be providing a ton of beers,” promises Lou Tucci of Linda Lane, who coordinates the event for Fuhrer and last year joined in the fun. It’s a great chance to sample new beers that you can then buy at retail outlets, says musician Ron LoVerde of Uptown Rhythm and Brass, who regularly visits Brews Brothers on Mt. Lebanon Boulevard to pick up his favorite microbrew from last year. Uptown Rhythm and Brass will once again provide the music.  Veterans Memorial Chairs Rocky Bleier and Dan Gigler, and Outreach Chair Coleman McDonough, will be there to greet guests.

The raffle (tickets sold in advance) will once again feature a week’s stay in a condo in Steamboat Springs, CO, a grill and a lovely piece of jewelry. This year, there also will be a 50-50.

Tickets will go on sale at the customer service center in the municipal building, the recreation center, Howard Hanna Mt. Lebanon and Outreach Teen and Family Services beginning July 1.  For information call 412-343-3407.
