Although the pandemic has transformed the library, it’s still keeping its place as a (virtual) community center.
Read a book, watch a movie, learn a language, hear a concert, buy some plants, maybe sip a beer once in a while. You can do all of that at Mt. Lebanon Public Library.
They fix the streets, plow the streets, cut the grass, plant the trees, fix the traffic lights; public works is everywhere.
In survey after survey, the top two reasons resident want to live here are the school district and the excellent public safety.
The Inspection Department: If you build it, they will come.
Mt. Lebanon has a mix of paid and volunteer firefighters who staff the firehouse 24/7.
The tax office takes it in and the finance department spends it.
Contrary to popular belief, there are plenty of parking spaces here.
