Arthur’s Korner Pub Opens Friday

Meet me at the Korner Pub!
It’s been over a year since anyone’s been able to say that about the Lebo landmark. But, that’s about to change.
The grand opening of the newly revamped Arthur’s Korner Pub, 4 Bower Hill Road, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday, December 8.

The 80-year-old Korner Pub, a favorite neighborhood hangout, closed in March 2022 when the lease was up. The previous owners bought the former smoky dive bar in 2014.
Galley Group, owner/operator of Federal Galley on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, is at the helm now.
Patrons of the new Arthur’s Korner Pub can expect pizza and beer, grab-and-go options, a simple cocktail and wine list and the smell of freshly popped popcorn. Beer was the only thing the previous Korner Pub served, besides hard seltzer and, occasionally, cider.

The furniture and fixtures are getting an update, gaming equipment is being refurbished, and TVs will be installed throughout the bar for guests to follow local teams. “Same great carpet and same great atmosphere,” said Chris Reidenbaugh, Mt. Lebanon Partnership President.
Reidenbaugh is excited to welcome Arthur’s to the neighborhood. “I live in the Lincoln neighborhood. Arthur’s is a mix of the old Korner Pub, a place to gather with friends, plus a full bar that might attract a different crowd of people,” he said.
