THE ADMINISTRATION department’s 16 full-time employees are responsible for overseeing general government functions; information services; insurance, office services and pension contributions; legal services and finance; public information and tax collection.
Information Services coordinates the computer technology efforts of each department into a comprehensive plan, giving employees faster access to information and technology and keeping all municipal data secure.

Finance All activities involving fiscal operations and management of municipal funds, including recording and investing revenue collected by the treasurer, expenditure of funds, exercising control over departmental budgets and preparation of financial reports to the Commission, manager or outside agencies.
Tax The tax office accounts for all municipal revenue collections. The treasurer/tax collector is responsible for the collection, deposit and reporting of taxes for the Municipality and Mt. Lebanon School District (MLSD) including real estate tax and liened real estate tax. Collection costs are shared between the taxing bodies. Earned income tax and local services tax are collected by a third party.
Public Information Provides a comprehensive municipal communications program, including public relations, media relations, special events, publication production and web and cable content.
