Farrell Leo, Mt. Lebanon High School Class of 1992, her husband Sean Kramer, and her cousin, Virginia Manor resident Shawn Gatto, have purchased the 1824 House Inn + Barn [2] in Waitsfield, Vermont. The 15-acre property includes an 8-bedroom bed and breakfast and an event venue, which can be booked for weddings, meetings, events and retreats. It is located near the Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts, waterfalls, rivers, golf resorts and many hiking and walking trails.
Joe and Lynn Smith, Osage Road, have been selected as the honorees at the South Hills Interfaith Movement’s Celebrate the South Hills [3] event, which is virtual this year. The South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) provides food, clothing and services such as assistance with utility bills to South Hills families in need.
St. Clair Hospital has named Lindsay Meucci vice president, marketing, communications and advocacy. She joins St. Clair from Giant Eagle, where she served as senior director of supermarket marketing, developing advertising strategies for all Giant Eagle stores.
Tenecia Ross is the Mt. Lebanon School District’s new human resources director. Formerly director of employee and labor relations at the University of Pittsburgh, Ross has a law degree from Michigan State University, and is currently working toward a master’s of human resources and Labor Relations at MSU. She has served in human resource and labor relation positions with Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland, Marriott International and the U.S. Federal Labor Relations Authority.
Lorien Carnahan Moyer has been hired as a unit principal at Mt. Lebanon High School. Moyer, who is pursuing a doctorate in education at the University of Pittsburgh, comes to Mt. Lebanon from Canon-McMillan High School, where she was assistant principal. She also taught history and AP classes at the Chartiers-Houston School District.
Jocelyn Artinger is the new principal at Markham School. She comes to Mt. Lebanon from Pittsburgh Public Schools, where she served as literacy coordinator for the district’s Office of School Transformation. Artinger’s background includes experience as principal and co-principal at several Propel Charter Schools.
Katelyn Deet is the new assistant principal of Jefferson Middle School. Deet has been a high school unit principal for the past two years. Prior to working for Mt. Lebanon, Deet taught elementary school in the Fox Chapel district.
