The Pennsylvania Education Technology Expo and Conference’s goal is to bring together like-minded technology administrators and educators from across the state to learn from leading experts in the education and technology fields.

Peretin was instrumental in Baldwin-Whitehall’s acceptance into the Digital Promise’s League of Innovative Schools. During the pandemic, Peretin helped the district excel as it reimagined learning and shifted to online and hybrid instruction, staff said.

Peretin is known in the district for putting students first. “She’s the type of leader who never seeks the attention associated with the levels of success that she has not only achieved for herself, but more importantly, for the colleagues, students, and families whom she serves,” Baldwin High School Principal Shaun Tomaszewski said.

Peretin has big goals for the future of technology in Baldwin-Whitehall.

“I think we are at an inflection point in education and I’m excited for what the future might be,” she said.
