About Us

Trusted by the public and frequently honored by the journalism community, Mt. Lebanon Magazine is our not-for-profit magazine published 10 times a year.

Our mission is to increase the transparency of municipal government, to give you the information you need and to promote pride in our community, including our schools, neighborhoods, housing, municipal services, recreation programs and businesses. Because regional news coverage is dwindling, a trusted source of local information such as Mt. Lebanon Magazine is more important than ever. We’re proud that nine out of 10 Mt. Lebanon residents say they read Mt. Lebanon Magazine every month.

In publication for 44 years, Mt. Lebanon Magazine continues to move ahead with the journalistic quality and distinctive graphics that have brought it loyal readership and national recognition. We were selected as the first place winner in printed publications by the National Association of Government Communicators in 2024. We have been regularly recognized by Press Club of Western Pennsylvania, as well as in competitions sponsored by Women in Communications, International Association of Business Communicators and City/County Communicators Association.
