Help prevent snow falls After a snowfall of an inch or more, you have 24 hours after the snow stops to clear your sidewalks. This holds true for houses, apartments and even vacant buildings. Business owners must clear their sidewalks within four hours of accumulation between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.

Conserve nature It’s the one thing they’re not making any more of. Since 1984, the Mt. Lebanon Nature Conservancy [2] has been working to promote the enhancement and careful use of Mt. Lebanon’s green space. School in the Park introduces Mt. Lebanon third graders to learning directly from nature. Tree pickup When all the Christmases have come and gone—Western, Eastern, Armenian and Little—you can take your tree down, and someone will pick it up on Saturday, January 10 or 17. Trees must be free of all decorations, including tinsel, and not in a plastic bag, because they will be recycled into wood chips, and any foreign material on the tree could damage the equipment. Please have your tree at the curb the night before either collection date.
